Please read these terms carefully before using the Remse platform. By accessing our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
⚠️ Important: These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Remse Ltd. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the platform.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Remse mobile application ("User App" or "Agent App"), website, or any associated services (collectively, the "Platform"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, travellers, relocators, and service agents who access or use the Platform, regardless of location. If you are using the Platform on behalf of a business or organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
Remse is a two-sided digital marketplace that connects:
Remse facilitates the connection between these parties and provides infrastructure for secure milestone-based escrow payments. Remse is not a travel agency, immigration law firm, or financial institution. We are a technology platform that enables transactions and trust between our users.
Note: Remse does not employ agents or guarantee the quality of services provided by agents. All service agreements are made directly between Users and Agents.
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account on Remse. By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete. You agree to keep your account information updated at all times.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must immediately notify Remse of any unauthorised access or use of your account. Remse will not be liable for any losses caused by unauthorised use of your account.
Each individual may only maintain one active Remse account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent suspensions, restrictions, or fees is strictly prohibited and will result in permanent platform ban.
Remse uses email-based OTP (One-Time Password) authentication. By providing your email address, you consent to receiving authentication codes via email. Standard messaging rates may apply.
As a Remse user, you agree to:
All service providers must successfully complete Remse's KYC (Know Your Customer) verification before their profile goes live and they can accept client requests. The KYC process requires:
Agents are required to undergo a mandatory compliance audit every two (2) years at a fee of $100.00 USD. Failure to complete the renewal audit will result in suspension of the agent account until compliance is restored.
Agents must deliver services as described, communicate honestly with clients, maintain professional standards at all times, and honour all agreed milestone terms. Agents who receive sustained poor reviews or are found guilty of misconduct may be permanently removed from the platform.
✅ Verified Status: The "Verified" badge on an agent profile indicates that Remse has completed identity verification. It does not constitute an endorsement of the quality of their services.
When a User hires an Agent on Remse, payment is made into a secure Remse Escrow Wallet rather than directly to the agent. Funds are held securely until the relevant milestone is completed and approved by the User. Upon approval, the funds are released to the Agent's Remse wallet.
Service agreements on Remse are broken down into milestones, which are agreed-upon stages of work. Each milestone has a corresponding payment amount. Users should only release a milestone payment when they are satisfied the related work has been completed as agreed.
If a User and Agent disagree on whether a milestone has been completed, either party may raise a formal dispute through the Remse platform. Remse's dispute resolution team will review the case and make a binding determination. See Section 10 for full dispute resolution terms.
Funds held in escrow are refundable to the User only in cases where:
Remse does not issue refunds for funds already released to agents by the User's own explicit action.
Escrow transactions are subject to a processing fee based on the User's subscription tier: 2.50% for Basic subscribers and 1.00% for Premium subscribers. These fees are deducted at the time of each milestone payment.
Remse operates on a subscription model with the following tiers:
All subscription fees are billed monthly. Remse reserves the right to adjust pricing with 30 days' advance notice to subscribers. Subscriptions are non-refundable once the billing cycle has commenced.
📊 Marketplace Commission: A flat 7.50% commission is charged on all marketplace transactions (E-SIMs, Lounge Access, Rentals, and Marketplace Services).
The Remse marketplace facilitates the purchase of travel-adjacent products and services, including but not limited to: international e-SIM cards, airport lounge access passes, short-term accommodation rentals, and other curated travel products.
All marketplace transactions are subject to a 7.50% platform commission. Marketplace products are provided by third-party partners, and Remse acts solely as an intermediary. Disputes regarding marketplace product quality must be raised within 48 hours of delivery or access.
The following activities are strictly forbidden on the Remse platform. Violation may result in immediate account suspension, permanent ban, and potential legal action:
Remse provides an in-app dispute resolution mechanism. If a User and Agent cannot resolve a disagreement privately, either party may file a formal dispute through the app. The dispute process works as follows:
⚠️ Remse reserves the right to withhold disputed funds in escrow for up to 30 days pending full investigation. Neither party may withdraw disputed funds during an active dispute.

You may close your Remse account at any time by contacting our support team. Upon account closure, any active escrow transactions must be resolved before closure can be completed.
Remse reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account at its sole discretion if a user violates these Terms, engages in fraudulent or harmful conduct, or for any other reason that Remse determines poses a risk to the platform or other users. Remse will provide reasonable notice where possible, but reserves the right to act immediately in cases of serious misconduct.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria, unless otherwise agreed in writing between the parties.
Remse reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email and in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the platform after such notification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any changes. The most current version will always be available at this URL.
