How does Remse escrow work?
When you hire an agent and agree on a scope of work, you fund an escrow wallet on Remse. The funds are held securely and only released to the agent once you confirm each milestone is completed to your satisfaction. This protects both parties throughout the process.
How are agents verified on Remse?
Every agent must submit a full KYC (Know Your Customer) application including government ID, a selfie, and proof of business operations. Our admin team reviews each application before granting the "Verified" status. Agents also undergo mandatory compliance audits every 2 years at a fee.
What countries does Remse support?
Remse is globally accessible. Our agents currently serve clients across 50+ countries with a strong focus on migration corridors between West Africa, Europe, the UK, North America, and Asia-Pacific. Payments are processed in NGN (Nigerian Naira) via Paystack.
Can I use Remse if I'm an agent, not a traveler?
Absolutely. Remse has two separate apps — the Remse User app for travelers/relocators and the Remse Agent app for service providers. As an agent you'll manage your client portfolio, receive milestone payments, build your profile, and grow your agency from our dedicated platform.
What is the marketplace commission fee?
Remse charges a 7.50% platform commission on marketplace transactions. For direct P2P escrow transactions the fee is 2.50% on Basic and 1.00% on Premium.
How do I sign up?
Download the Remse User app (for travelers) or Remse Agent app (for providers) on iOS or Android. Enter your email, receive an OTP, complete your profile, select your interests, and you're in. Agents also go through KYC verification before going live.
